Dr. Jones is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her Doctorate is in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

After a distinguished career in Management at Delta Air Lines she retired to focus on reaching and assisting young people. She has worked as a Counselor at the Starting Place and a Family Counselor with Broward County Schools. She currently works for CMET.

Her duties at CMET have included Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Family Counseling, Anger Management, Couple’s Counseling, and Co-Parenting. She currently has a focus on Child Parent Psychology. This engages parents and children in developing a dyadic relationship in a safe and nurturing environment.

Dr. Jones currently serves as the Christian Education Director at her home church, Mt. Hermon AME Church in Ft. Lauderdale. She has a love and passion for young people. She strives to help youth develop emotionally, mentally, physically, as well as spiritually. Her desire is that each young person discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and mature into caring and mature adults.
